Hi,
I've just got back from camping and my generator leaked petrol in the boot. Not a huge amount as I had a blanket underneath it but it smells pretty bad now.
Any suggestions on how to remove the smell?
Cheers.

A match ?????!!!!!!!
Seriously , leave the boot open for as long as you can and the petrol smell should eventually evaporate , or sprinkle bicobonate soda ( white powder ) may help absorb and neutralise the smell

shake n vac form poundland or 99p store or nuteralla (or something like that) swiss formula original smoker version!!

For future reference...a boot full of petrol vapour must be a very explosive situation...you open the boot, the light goes on...

Thanks for the tips. I've borrowed a carpet cleaner, so I'll try that tomorrow and see how it is.

It was on the return journey and buried under everything, so that's why I kept going. It was my fault as it ran out of petrol so I didn't go thru the usual turn off procedure of turning the fuel tap off.

Thanks again.
