Petrol under £1 a litre!

so it bloomin' well should be - oil is now half the price it was at its peak in the summer - don't suppose this will be reflected in the petrol price being halved.......

I still fill up at sainsbury's for 106.9 (Super unleaded).
 
Sainos here is 103.9:bannana: Has been for a couple of days. Some garages are in Leeds too. I filled up at sainos last weekenbd for 101.9 - had a 5p a litre voucher:D
 
Unleaded is allegedly 99.9p at our local trago Mills.

I was annoyed this morning when some petrol expert stated it would take weeks if not months for the forecourts to reflect the fall in oil prices as their fuel is purchased three months in advance!!:rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :mad: :mad:

It never takes them three days to put prices up, let alone three blooming months. I really do think we are all taken for idiots.

They'll blame keeping the prices high in part on currency rates - which is obviously a deciding factor with crude priced in dollars... Last time oil was this cheap back in December, you got over two dollars to the pound - it's now sitting at nearer $1.75
 
dont see why everyones so happy as such a small price drop, esp considering how much its dropped before reaching the pumps, not so quick to put the price down as they were up....

ill be happy when its back at 70p :P

Ok 99.9p is good?? but would YOU que ? its not like its a shortage now. Made me laugh a little classic shape mini in the que. How big is the tank 6 gallons?


OOh well each to there own, I just fill mine when it needs it. Queing in mine probably uses the saving anyway :)
 
yeah well see it this way....its much easier on the eye to see double digits than to see 115.9p for unleaded, i was payin 128.9p for my standard diesel!!! keeep it coming down rich pumps
 
I just filled up the car and was delighted to see regular unleaded was 102.9p per litre, so much so that I was going to start a thread, but

(a) Someone beat me to it!!

(b) It appears to be 3p more than elsewhere!!

Doh!!
