Likewise, It was nice to put Faces to Names (Hope I just remember them all) Really sorry I couldnt stay very long though, like I said, I had just been given my work details 15 minutes before arriving, so I had to leave after only 30 Minutes. To all those who I didnt speak to, hope to catch up with you at the next GTG (Work Permitting that is) Some really lovely cars there as well, as well as really nice people,

There were some Lovely Cars there I must say, including a beautiful Red SL, but not taking anything away from anyone else's Cars, Will's 190E-2.5, A Stunning Example, Inside and Out, A credit to its Owner and for me, The Car of the Day (At least for the 30 mins I was there) Must be the Castrol R Running through my Veins (If anyone remembers that Special Oil)

I think it's a stain on the camera lens or something. My car is spotless.

Fact is, I use it every day so it gets dirty too quickly. The wheels are covered in brake dust because... well... I use it.

Who's is the CLK55 without the centre caps?

Someone damaged one of them a while ago and I thought it looked better without the centre caps. I was never a fan of that design of wheel; much prefer the wheels on the S430 above. Removing the centre caps gives the wheels more character, helped by having 5 smaller circles orbiting the bigger centre circle. Yes, I am a design geek.

And I also moved all the locking wheel nuts to be adjacent to the AMG lettering. Yes, I am a design geek.

Still cant resist an SL

And another nice SL - It was gratifying to see this had obviously been used and wasnt just a museum piece

Finally - my new 190 project much later on when there were only 3 of us left on site
