plastic headlamp lense

hi guys

new on here and first post so go easy plz.

just picked up e300td ag and the headlamps, which are plastic? are very dirty/misted? like the plastic on a old soft top rear window if you can picture what i mean.

anyway how can i clean the lense as at the moment they are affecting night driving etc

There is a post on here somewhere about this issue where they recommended, if I recall correctly, a 3M polish which sounded like a cutting compound. Must admit that I tried T Cut which did not seem to have the same effect but then perhaps I did not spend long enough on them. Good luck

Fine wet&dry paper followed by a good machine polishing will do the trick.
