I havent seen the bike the police have only just let the insurance company apply to collect it. The police impounded it for so long because the hospital were unsure whether or not I was going to live until after a week of intensive care.

To be entirely honest I dont really care about the bike.. its brand new so I think they wont bother trying to repair it they will just give me a brand new bike. Which I cant ride for at least 2-3 months.

Cheers

The bike was the least of your troubles wasn't it.

Glad your getting back to some form of normality, must have been frightening for you.

Lee & Lorrie,
Just found this thread. That was one heck of a mess and you were lucky to pull through!!

What are you doing to stave off the boredom? Sold your W202 yet?

Hello all, thought maybe a little update.. today I've been signed off from the hospital and now to start intensive physiotherapy as of tomorrow.. however good news I'm back to work on Monday, bad news sold the Merc before Christmas and I miss it and want it back.. only sold because of petrol prices and needing new suspension and a bit of paint.. came into a bit of money and no Mercedes.. :(

Get one again soon!

Cheers

Lee
