Hi

I'm really stuck trying to remove the valves from the op of my injection pump to replace the rubber O rings and copper washers.

Engine no. 60391222059433

I have bought the 33pt spline x56mm long socket (laser tools 5471) that is supposed to do he job.

But the socket does not fit all the way down over the valve (on top of injector pump) its not long enough, does anybody have any experience of this?

I believe the tool is supposed be the correct one, I'm totally puzzled, any help please?..?..

Use the ring that retains the valve to un-do it. Push it all the way down and tap it with a punch and hammer.

Hi
Thanks for the reply.

So undo the ring that retains the valve, by the t-30 torx bit, and then use the ringtone undo it slightly?

And then put the socket over the valve and tap with a hammer? Definately?

I really stuck now, as I gave in, put all the pipes back on, and airbox, started it up and it's knocking like mad! All I did was undo the fuel pipes the put back again!

I'm almost ready to give in and get rid of it, any help much appreciated!

Thanks
