Pleasing RUST result from MB.

I previously mentioned in the General Discussion forum that i had taken my 2001 E320 CDi Estate back to Chelt/Glos MB for a rust warranty claim. They had the car for an hour to check everything while i enjoyed free coffee and papers. I did not think i had much of a chance as i am the third owner, 106k miles and the car has not been in to a main dealer since 2003.

Just had a call from BP Motors in Cheltenham to book the car in to have ALL the rust repairs done courtesy of Lord Benz !! Only thing is, they are so busy with MB claims that they can't fit me in until December 1st.

Mine was repaired by a non-MB sprayer after being keyed 7 years ago, so not a chance on mine
