Guys,
Just to see what the general use of polish is here and what type you all use. I have recently bought some Mothers polish from the states and found this to be one of the best ive used so far, previously i was using Z Waz another States product whic i got another 2 bottles of.
What do you use???

Regards

Raj

"Polish" takes layers of the paint where "Wax" puts layers on the paint. Whenever you use polish you should always apply wax afterwards!!!

I use the Zymol cream wax and complete process on my car and have not had the need yet to utilise any other polish/product:

Stage 1: Wash car with Zymol shampoo on every wash
Stage 2: Use HD Cleanse on painwork (every 6 months) which is similar to a polish as cleans all the paintwork and removes minor scratches/blemishes etc.
Stage 3: Apply cream wax

I generally find Maguiers & Autoglym stuff to be quite good so, its usually:-

1. Do wheels and wells/arches with a mixture of warm water + Autoglym with a rinse before and after.

2. Rinse car to remove surface dust.

3. Wash with Maguiers soft wash + mit

4. Rinse a chammy dry.

5. Two coats of Maguiers Gold Class or Nxt Generataion.

I mostly wax her every time I wash her but if times not on my side, and its not rained in between, I find a quick rinse is enough being as the previous waxing makes the all the dust etc simply bead and run off.

Maguiers stuff does smell nice!:D

I use Meguiars too with the addition of a clay bar then the 3-step system - then NXT wax. A normal wash is with NXT shampoo, rinse, hydrablade and synthetic chamois to dry and an application of Gold Class or NXT wax if I have time - sorting out stonechips along the way
