The CLS from the other place in Stuttgart can't be far away as I've received some marketing blurb this evening in the last hour.

A microsite has been set up but appeared to suffering technical difficulties when I tried to view it earlier.

Anyway, find out more here: http://www.porsche.com/microsite/panamera/uk.aspx

What are all those doors for?

Eh? Yours doesn't do the driving?

Saw one this morning on the A4 near Porsche Chiswick/West London.

Is it the first?

I've got a *real* crappy camera-phone pic too ;)

Was wondering whether the first one would sighted in either Guildford or Altrincham! ;)

Quick rubbish photo (off my iPhone..)

Strangely I like it, but I don't know why.....

I quite like it too. It combines qualities I like in a car:

1. Supercar performance
2. Potentially subtle in appearance
3. Four doors and proper back seats
4. 911-ish
5. No silly pedal position that gives me back ache within minutes a la 911*

To be fair #5 is an assumption. I hope they haven't deliberately offset the pedal position to make it an authentic Porsche driving experience, despite being able to put the fuel tank somewhere other than where the accelator should be!!

Made it slighly better but not a lot LOL.:thumb::bannana::dk:

I went to the launch night last friday, it was good lots of Champagne and fancy nibbles. Must admit that I prefered the Champagne to the car, whis is massive.

Saw a few in the flesh at the 'ring, looks a lot better than the press pictures, particularly in dark colours. I agree though it is massive, and in slightly bad taste, although better than the Cayenne.

Porsche hospitality is superb too.

I like it......I got a letter from Porsche West London offering me a 24 hour test drive in any porsche but sadly the Panamera isnt on the list!! So going to take the 997 for a laugh instead......
