I've just bought a tracker which requires a positive and negative supply. It's sold with the presumption of connecting it straight to the battery which I have for the time being. With the battery under the driver seat it would take a van thief literally ten seconds to snip the negative wire of the tracker and make it useless. Does anyone have any suggestions as to a good place to fit this? The tracker is not much bigger than a credit card so pretty small. Soon I'll be replacing the stereo with an aftermarket one so even somewhere behind the dash would be good. I don't have a clue about car or van electrics or the corresponding wire colours. Obviously it needs a permanent power supply. Any suggestions and wire colours will be much appreciated.
Thanks in Advance
