Pricy aeroflex wiper blades

A pair costs at least £28 from Bosch for a W211.

Anybody tried just replacing just the rubber inside?

The end bit of the blades can be removed to access the slide in rubber , anyone tried it?

I used to get replacement rubbers for my W210's for £5 from MB, easy to fit but they don't sell them individually anymore, you have to buy the whole blade.

The wipers fitted to 2005 W211 are they Bosch or Valeo?
