Put Petrol in Deisel

Dilema.

Just put £20 of petrol in to car. Realised before I paid. It was about half full. so I filled up with diesel and 9 litres of Vegi ( just happened to have it the boot) to dilute the stuff. Car ran okay for about 2mile when i parked up. After about 30 mins went back to car and it wouldnt start. Left it for another 30mins and it started very easliy. Drove home 15 miles with out any obviouse problems.

Question is if I keep topping up with diesel and diluting will that be okay or should I try and drain it out.? and waht other problems should I look out for.

Of course I dont know if it will start in the morning.

Just been and tried to start, but it wont

That won't be the petrol but more likely the veg oil causing the fuel lines to suck air. Check the lines near the filter.
