300SL r107
Hi gents, can you recommend an expert R107 mechanic (trustworthy and reasonably priced!) near Twickenham, or anywhere in West London?

I've recently bought a 1986 300SL and have a few troubles I need to get sorted out.

I've Googled high and low but can't find anyone..

I can recommend someone in Brentford. Not exactly a 107 specialist but a good mechanic and mercedes enthusiast and owner of an SLC so knows the model well.

ditto with spike! i recommend Martin based in Brentford, owner of several classic MB's, very friendly guy and knows his way around these legends.. He's working on my 124 E500 right now!

That's odd. I can't believe anyone with such a specific request as yours wouldn't be immediately directed to colin ferns.
There's a couple of others a bit further afield: TM Motors, Steve Redfern, Klasse.
What did you type in as your search terms?

TM Motors in West Molesey. They always have at least 2 or 3 107s at anyone time in there! Close as your get to an actual 107 specialist.

+1 for TM Motors.

Tony is very knowledgable on the older models in particular.

Very upfront, honest guy and top quality work

They would be my recommendation :thumb:

Aha... he told me about your E500 - I must pop in and see it.

yep, the car is there right now having an oil cooler line replaced, caps, rotors and a new refrigerant switch which involves a/c evac and regas. bit of a pain but it's got to be done it time for the summer!
