R129 1994 Suspension

Mercedes discovered a passenger side broken spring today when I was having some other work done.
Seems like a good opportunity to change the whole lot.

Anyone got any suggestions or advice?

I am planning on replacing with original equipment but didn't want to miss out on anything better.

Thanks ... Will do that. Guessing a Mercedes direct part only?

I have read they were fitted with a mix of sachs and Bilstein struts ... Would anyone know if the non Mercedes marked parts made by these two companies are identical?

Happy to buy from Mercedes as I like original equipment but I know sometimes they are literally the same.

I have some original springs front and back for my 500 left over from when I lowered mine.

Take them away, I need the space.

Thanks Sp!ke, really good of you... Would be a good fix while I gather all the bits to replace with new and I might need the cash for the roof if its the controller in the meantime so might be needed longer than I think!
