That's a real bargain. Those AMG back boxes were horrendously expensive, around £1500 IIRC!

I got mine on eBay.de (about £300 I think), and the in-laws collected it and brought it over for me

I was chuffed at the final price. Just need to get it here, then get a stainless mid-pipe made.

There is nothing rude about asking and no bottle required. Thats what this forum is all about, helping people. It would be rather churlish not to offer as I am coming down on Saturday. Anyone else want anything picking up and bringing down?

Yeah, the 211 seems a bit boring in comparison, especially as the audio install hasn't been done yet. I guess I could, although I intend to have a straight through midpipe made so it might be worth waiting?

The AMG back box made no difference on my SL, sound-wise. So I would personally do the centre muffler delete at the same time as fitting the new box.

The seller is a brilliant guy too He knew its true worth but was happy for it to go to an enthusiast inside the UK. He drives a Saab at the moment but has had Mercedes in the past.
