I have an R129 and I would like to fit a kit supplied out of Hong Kong .
The kit is a timber finish panel that self sticking onto the dial suround of the speedo ect.
My problem is that I need to remove the glass ( perspex) that is currently fitted over the dashboard dials before I can fit the kit.
Does the perspex just prise out from the front or do I have to get behind the dash to release any clips ect.?
Can any one advise me which is the correct way to get the perspex out ?
Thanks
Neville

you will need to remove DO NOT USE HOOKS to pull cluster out--push out from behind (hooks often crack glass) no clips etc just push
dismantle not difficult screws and clips all very visible
hope this helps good luck ;)

Hooks don't crack the glass if you put them in the correct place i.e. at the bottom of the cluster at 9 o'clock and 3 o'clock respectively.
