R129 Rust Advice

A few months ago I purchased a 1990 300SL. Thought it was a great deal as well. I live in the Glasgow area and would be grateful if anyone could recommend a body shop or elsewhere that could help me with the rust issues:
  • Pretty severe rust on front left wing.
  • Bubbling on front right wing.
  • Rust under both bottom door seals.
  • Rust under the full length of the boot seal (and water now getting into boot).

what's the structure like? all that you've described are bolted in panels and could be replaced with rust free parts. Not even worth repairing.
 
Hi Al, cheers for the reply. Structurally I'd say it's pretty good. Here are some photos of the dodgy spots! Forgot to mention the rust on the passenger door frame.

Yep, aside from the b pillar which will require welding. Everything shown looks welded in. Pretty there is no cheap option to ship parts from the US to the UK. I have all of those parts here is 103 degree f Texas, some of which are in the same color.
 
Notice the same door rust on mine today. Does anyone know the cause of this? Would it have something to do with the door rubbers? Would a garage be able to repair?

My guess is that someone's tried to lever a piece of the trim away and broken the paint, or something's been incorrectly refitted and has rubbed. That's not one of the common 129 rust spots

I HOPE I'M WRONG but what looks like cosmetic surface rust may be indicative of hidden major structural rust elsewhere. You need to ascertain the car is structurally sound first before pouring money into what might be a bottomless pit!
