r129 tyres, i am confused

[R129mine]

my tyres on my 96 r129 need replacing in the next couple of months
currently i have 4x pirelli p6000 225 55 zr 16 on all 4 wheels

from what i have read in other post the r129 should have 245/40/z18 or 235/45/z17

when i do a search on kwik fit website or any other website using my number plate the 245 and 235 tyres i listed above come up as options.

my question is, do i have the wrong tyres on the car?

Yes as you know now your tires are correct, in 07 98 17" wheels with 245 x 45 tired were standard, in 2000 18" were fitted
