Radio MW Reception

Is there any way to increase the reception of MW in my car. I Have comand for W220 and the reception is very poor at times on medium wave (Five Live)

Any help would be appreciated

Do you have an antennna which is built into rear wind screen. If so then the antenna may have come loose at joints. You can test by leaving your radio tunned to five alive and then press against th roof linning near the rear windscreen all the way along. If the reception gets better whilst you apply the pressure then the antenna has come loose.
