Radio Turning off

Sitting in the car taking in some scenery with the radio on, as you do, when up pops a message saying start engine or else radio will turn off in three minutes. Since I'm parked up and don't want to drive anywhere, why am I not allowed to listen to some music. It's a W204 with an Audio 20 with the Universal Media Interface (Navigation 20).

Couldn't find anything in any menus to change this behaviour, is there a fix for this.

My last two cars(at least, possibly more!) have done this, except that they didn't give any warning.

AFAIK it's merely to stop the radio being left on, and running down the battery. Seems sensible to me, sorry.

I dont think you actually need to start the engine. Just turning the key should be enough.
