Rain and Light sensor (w211)

hi all,
I'm in another fix now - seems to be happening alot with this car. Anyway, I just replaced the inlet port shutoff motor. The car is good again. But before that, I disconnected the battery lead.
Now the rain/light sensor is not working properly. Even in bright daylight/torch on sensor - the interior (Audio etc) lights are dim. And the auto setting on the headlights is always on now. The IC setting is Manual.
Star says current/stored code of 9091 - OCP (Overhead control panel) and rain/light sensor is NOT ACTIVE.
Any ideas on what could have gone wrong? I was thinking maybe there is a reset type thing after the battery is connected something like the wondows/s.roof? Please help.

I still havent been able to make this work. STAR is not able to communicate with the sensor. Any ideas?

Have you solved this problem. I have now also light sensor fault. First there was faultcode (Upper head unit is not normited or something like that) Wisit workshop. My Star cant communicate with light sensor. Rainsensor and sunroof works fine..
