Really Really Stupid People

Of course they do. I've read countless times that BMWs aren't equipped with indicators, so you stand no chance of being thought of as anything else. Indeed, BMWs' oft reported lack of indicators are more contagious than coronavirus, having infected the majority of other cars on the road if my observations are anything to go by. So it's all your fault. ;)

hehe, I noticed most Audi drivers indicate nowadays to show of their fancy dynamic indicators. :D

Here's a thing.

When using satnav the car knows with some accuracy when indicators will be needed so why isn't it programmed it to indicate at the required moment automatically?

Audi were made aware of the number of idiots that own them (myself included) and hence designed something the owners could show off with. It’s a big w4nker indicator on the SQ7.

Without a shadow of a doubt, the drivers that really need educated are the 18-24 young girls who have absolutely NO CONCEPT of speed vs road conditions.

Around here (and everywhere else I imagine) it’s the 18-24 year old boy (racers)

You got a SQ7???

I was on a "Speed Awareness" course few years back. To be fair, the instructors spent about 10 minutes on the old fashioned speed stuff and switched to driving skills. Awareness, understanding of road signs, meaning of white lines etc etc.
The ignorance of other attendees was staggering although, having been a biker for decades, I was not surprised.
Bloke in my group said "You seem to know all the answers. How many of these courses have you been on?"

The ones that I have been on were pretty good.

Travelling on the A90 from Aberdeen to Peterhead a couple of days ago, within a 10 mile stretch, I passed seven or eight cars at various locations, in fields, all showing signs they had been rolled. They all had POLICE AWARE tape around them, it appears not many drive to the road conditions up there?

Traveling down the M1 yesterday in dstorm Dennis, the gantry on the not so smart motor way pops up to 60mph and the message board displays, report of an obstruction.
The obstruction was a little old lady doing about 35mph in the left lane.. on a motorway.....
Then she was still comfortably above the minimum speed limit of 20mph .

If conditions were truly bad then she was driving sensibly .

Around my way it’s everybody with (or without for that matter) a driving licence

It has been 20mph since they came into being : that is why certain classes of vehicle are not permitted on them .

You learn something every day! Now I definitely have got to drive more quickly next time I am on the motorway, don't want to risk having penalty points on my licence at my age.

I'm struggling to find that in the Highway Code - got a link or section number? I've found the bits about certain types of vehicles not being allowed, and specific signing of minimum speed limits.
