Evening chappies. Another problem for you to solve if possible please. Well I've just fitted a rear parking sensor set up and i'm amazed how it works as this is the first time iv had a setup on any of my 30 or so cars. It works perfectly BUT as soon as you put it in reverse the bulb failure warning lamp lights up and doesn't go out until its put into drive after turning the ignition off then on again. I know why its happening but are there any cures that someone has done in the past to fix things ? cheers.

Any ideas today chaps for my problem ?. Cheers.

Yes-Had a similar problem when I fitted sensors to a Mini. You need a bypass relay. Although the current drain from the sensors in very low, the bulb failure system recognizes it and the resistance in the reverse light circuit, hence the warning light comes up. They relay is very simply to fit. I got mine here: Parking Sensors - Optional Parts, Relays, power droppers. However, any low power single pole relay will most probably do the job and maybe cheaper.
PS-I had a 1996 C280 and love it too :-)
