rear window defroster w202

hello got a problem with the clima control i think it is manual the fan goes on different speeds and if i give the panel a light knock it changes speed

also the defroster is not working when i push the button it lights up and turn off after a few minutes but the window is still icy so i think there must be a problem with the clima panel.. it got nr 210 830 20 85 if i remember right and that is a realy expensive part over here is there posible to open the panel and fix ? anyone

Sounds vaguely similar to what I had recently. I took the panel out cleaned the contacts and squirted compressed air and hey presto! air at the right speed.

solved had to open the combi relay and resolder all the contact points and now everything is working 100%

Got c180 W202 and rear defroster light on switch not coming on have checked fuse it’s ok . Does anyone have some ideas please
