Recent Snow Woes

I was really fed up with not being able to get out of my street with the recent snow and was toying with selling the car to get a 4 wheel drive saloon (not 4x4 tank).

Then I found this on an Audi forum, anyone heard or used this before ???

I find it hard enough trying to open the fuel cap, let alone trying to change a tyre...

mines fine in the snow, its all down to the tyres, If you car has fat low profiles on it just buy a pair of steel wheels and get some cheapy remould Colway snow tyres on em, they cost like £30 each.

I agree --- Snow tyres --- They have saved my life this last couple of weeks.
I could NOT have managed without them.

Have used winter tyres for 2 years now, I'll never run a car through winter on summer tyres again, they are that good.
