Recommend me a first class bodyshop

Hi all,

Could someone recommend me a first class body shop in or around the London area.
I'm looking to get the body kit on my Merc 190 painted/restored to its original colour and i'm looking for a body shop that will do the work to the highest standards possible.

Any input greatly appreciated.

I don't know if West Molesey KT8 2 QH is to far for you. I have used Vanleigh for over 20 years and can highly recommend them.

Sira Motors in Barking, they are excellent, always take any cars there for body\paint work

Just mooching through the forum. Major plus one on Sita motors. Always take my motors there, excellent work which always stands the test of time. Ask for Hardev the owner. Top man.

Phiness in Epsom are quite good, though if you want the very best then Panel-Wise will quote you accordingly.

I know Peter recommends Vanleigh but in my experience I wouldn't use them again.

I can thoroughly recommend Rainbow Prestige outside London (they have two locations: Slough, Berkshire and Farnborough, north Hampshire). Although they worked on my Mazda, it was massivley outnumbered by the number of MBs they had - they are approved by MB and have great relations with several dealers

Helped me out of a hole / did some work that both my Mazda dealer and Mazda UK could not help with / results were spot on and good value.
