Hi

Appreciate if this has been asked before you can direct me to the thread/post - If not can someone add their 2p worth - Got an 2005 350 with Pirelli Rosso's on and need to replace them -

Bridgestone RE050 ?
Continental Sport Contact 3 ?
Michelen pilot Sport 2 ?

The above seem to get the better reviews and some seem to be specific to Merc

Dont want anything too soft but also dont want anything that will break free at the first attempt - So I guess a good mid range - Presume any of the above will do but just looking to hear from experience

Thanks

All of them will be up to the job, and unless you're a particularly talented driver (I'm not!!) then I doubt you'd notice much between them.

I'd probably discount the Bridgestones, and then go for the tyre that I can get the best deal on between Pirelli, Michelin, and Continental.

The Michelin's may be worth paying a slight premium for if longevity is your bag.

I hope this helps.

I switched to Eagle F1 Asymmetric from PS2s. It seems to suit the car better and last longer than PS2s. Grip in the wet also seems superior *IMHO*

Bridgestone RE050's are not the best on wet roads, Goodyear F1 GSD3's are better. Conti's are OK too.
