recording software and vista

what recording software does anyone use with windows vista,cant get any version of nero to work or roxio,

By recording I assume you mean DVD/CD writing. Vista comes with it's own. There is one I use (albeit on XP) that you might try called AVS disc creator that's freeware.

the latest versions of nero should work, or maybe NTI CD/DVD Maker

you need the latest version of Nero (8) if you want to use it. Same for Roxio (10) - we have both and they work quite happily with Vista

Nero 7

You don't need Nero 8, however you do need one of the latest releases of 7 to work with Vista - just do an update from the site.

Note: I have had problems doing automatic updates so download all the latest install files manually.

I'm running Nero 6 and it still seems to work fine.
