Relisted Mercedes Benz E200 Avantgarde NON RUNNER

Relisted again (perhaps the seller didnt get what he had in mind went upto about £800 last time)maybe good for the technical minded.

Any ideas what may be really causing the problem ?

Probably the ECU is fried..the garage possibly connected the jump leads up reverse polarity.

but shurely if it was as simple as putting a new one in wouldnt the seller put one in he would got more money for the car ???? Are ECU's expensive ?

ECU can cost anything upto and prob over 1600quid, but get recon for less than half that
