Does anyone know how I might get some splashes of what looks like gloss paint off the bodywork? My little Skoda runabout now has a speckled green finish! Autoglym srp removed it from the glass but isn't doing the job on the paintwork?
Many thanks
Gerry

Cellulose ?

Is it household gloss ? if so , white spirit ..

Is it a good idea to put cellulose thinners on your paintwork ?

I've used white spirit on paintwork before to remove sticky labels and tar spots.

I thought the job of cellulose thinners was to thin automotive paint / lacquer ?

Yes it does, just apply a little at a time on a cloth were the gloss is on it.
Don't go mad or you will soften the lacquer coat

Clay, Tar and glue remover, more aggressive polish or a mix of all three should shift it.
