As previously posted my gear changes on the 190D tend to be a bit thumpy at low revs, so I am going to check out the vacuum lines. What's the best way of removing them, heat them up with warm water and just pull them off? Is there a risk of damaging them? Also, there are 2 down on the engine connected by fancy clips which I have tried to persuade to come off. What do I do with these, do I squeeze the sides, prize them off with a screwdriver or what? There are lots of posts here on vacuum lines but any additional info welcome.
