Replace audio 20 with Command NTG2.5?

Hi i bought W203 2005 Elegance i think it has Audio20 single cd player in it but considering replace with command NTG2.5 is it possible?
and what i need along with Command NTG2.5?

It is possible but hard to find the ntg2.5 for a 203.

zenman63 Thanks for your reply would you kindly tell me is it specific ntg2.5 or ordinary if i can find on ebay with gps antenna and ntg2.5 command would it straight swap or i need to have something else please dont mind iam totally new and its my first Car thats why dont know much.

The W203 C class was replaced by the W204 before NTG2.5 came along, with the exception of the W203 C class Coupe, which got NTG4.5 in December 2008.

This means there are not that many W203 C class NTG2.5 around, so not many units out there to be in broken cars etc, and thus they are hard to find. You need the NTG2.5 from a C class or it wont fit. Its part number should therefore start A203 820 ... ..

If you look at Mercedes Comand Navigation and Audio Specialists they have the retrofit/conversion kits you need- they are quite simple and consist of a bluetooth antenna, a FM/AM antenna converter ,some wiring and a mic or mic lead (depending on whether your car has phone pre-wire already or not). You also need a GPS antenna and a NTG2.5 COMAND unit.

Some NTG2.5 units will need coding to make them work - it depends what was in the previous car, and the age of the unit. Also, the instrument cluster will need coding to turn on the NAV menu / display in the cluster

I had a pioneer put in a 2005 w203 and all I had to have to fit it
was a surround and a interface cable for the steering wheel controls.

The ntg 2.5 is a nice unit, just keep en eye on ebay.

I had a pioneer put in a 2005 w203 and all I had to have to fit it
was a surround and a interface cable for the steering wheel controls.

I would avoid Pioneer units as we have seen warranty issues with them plus customers asking us to replace Pioneer units with Kenwood/Alpine. As far as reliability goes both Kenwood and Alpine knock Pioneer into a cocked hat.

Only comand has the full integration with the cluster/steering wheel controls.

The best unit for a 2005 W203 is the W203 NTg 2.5 comand unit. It fits perfecly and integrates with your cluster and steering wheel controls as per factory.
