Retrofit Easy-Pack tailgate ??

I imagine there would be some modifying but would definitely be well worth the result.

I have the hydraulic solenoid for the W164 ML but now wont be fitting it !

The answer for the 211 has been that it can be deone but the price is prohibitive.

Whenever folks ask about buying the 211 estate I ALWAYS recommend they consider this feature, sadly some contributors will always disagree.

Good luck trying to get it fitted but be prepared for a huge hole in the wallet.

If Alfie or Richard cannot do it then the only other source I can think of is Braybrooks

Thanks for the response John. Unfortunately my 211 estate was bought second-hand from the dealer (REX car - 3 month usage by one of the sales managers) and it had everything except the auto tailgate.

I did get a quote from MBenzNL for 2380 euros but I'd need to drive all the way to the Netherlands to get it installed! Not something I'd really fancy doing.

I'll try to contact Alfie or Richard... BTW, how do you access the PM function on the forum?!?

Okay.. have decided that its not worth the nagging I'll receive from SWMBO for spending the £££ in doing this retro-fit. Irony is that it all began with SWMBO nagging about the lack of this capability after she saw it in action on another 211 Estate!!!

Basically this is a lose-lose situation for me...
