Excuse me if this has been covered previously, but I am wondering if anyone has recent experience with fitting LED lamps in to a late C Class. I have a 2014 AMG Sport Estate with halogen head lamps, but would like to fit LED to the side lights, front indicators, and perhaps the door mirror down lighters.
I am aware of the CANBUS / bulb failure technicalities, but would appreciate any comments on suitable lamps - if such a thing exists. Seems some supposedly error free lamps are not quite that, and reliability is still an issue. Don't want to purchase and have to accept error messages, or flickering lamps etc. Also read that the audible indicator repeater inside the car can sometimes speed up like a flasher relay used to on bulb failure.
Can't figure out why MB fitted LED rear cluster, but didn't bother with the front of the car!
Many thanks.
