Reversing Camera Command 2.0

I have a CLK 208 Cab I wish to install a reverse camera that displays on the command 2.0 screen. I have done some reaserch and have been informed that the Dietz 1440 interface will allow me to display the camera image on the screen.

All I want to know is will the screen change from say CD Display to the reverse camera feed when reverse gear is selected. or does the interface not do that ??

I know the MOST 211 Dietz kit does switch the screen to the camera input not sure about the command 2.0 version any one got one of these ??

I'm not sure this will work for you automatically as the comand unit needs to be told to switch to the video input when reverse is selected. I doubt very much that the coding for the canbus signals to do this is present on a W208. You can probably, almost certainly, get it to work but you will have to press the tV button at the very least.

Anybody can advice what to use for reverse/back up camera to command 2.0 208/210/163 ?
