Roof Bars - insert strip

looking at a MB set of second hand roof bars for my E class estate (210).

found a set, but they do not appear to have the rubber/plastic insert strip in the top slot. anyone know if you can get these separate from a dealer, and if so, roughly how much?

I have had two sets of these bars over the years. Neither had the rubber insert. However I have used the slot to attach my roof box and bike carriers by sliding bolts in the slot and attaching that way instead of using U-bolts. Neat.

I bought a set brand new from MB and there was no rubber strip fitted. THere was no strip shown on the instruction leaflet either.
