Rounded allen bolt - Help !

Thanks for the advice guys,

I'll try tackling it in the following order:

1. Use a universal spanner
2. Weld a larger nut on to it then try to losen

or instead of welding the nut use Checmical metal /JB Weld

Are they really that good? Some of the JML tools I've tried in the past haven't been of the greatest quality. For £6 that looks like a useful tool to have.

Just be interested to hear how durable / well made they appear to be.

Mine are still going strong. Obviously they don't get too many outings as I have decent sockets and suchlike but when I've leaned on one it didn't feel like it was about to go bang.

For the price it's difficult to find a reason not to have them in the toolbox.

Do you have this or a similar product in the U.K?
Possibly through an industrial hardware supply.

I would also recommend the Irwin remover tools - excellent kit. I used them to removed a sh@gged locking wheel nut.

Screwfix sell them.
