I typed a whole rant on here about the amount of time I've wasted today chasing EMC/RSA...

I then decided I was making it too personal, and not very professional...

So I'll let the register speak:
RSA breach leaks data for hacking SecurID tokens

This is more of a heads up for anyone that uses RSA SecureID tokens...

Fully agree... clearly all their staff have either been told very little, or been very well briefed on what to say/read... (or both).

Again, I typed quite a bit more... but I think it's better in the interest of everyone involved that I don't make this personal. I quite value my job :p

Remembered this thread, it went quiet (despite the Lockheed breech). Anyway, we now got our notification from RSA saying that they will replace our tokens (from before a specific issue date) if we want them to.

Anyone else going to take them up on their offer?

Also reported in the news: BBC News - Security firm RSA offers to replace SecurID tokens

Now who would want to hack Lockheed Martin? Maybe somebody with record of trying to hack lots of western government computer communications both defense and commercial ? A few clues---- totalitarian state---- population of 1,339,724,852--- begins with C and ends with A .

So you're suggesting that Canada is officially misrepresenting its population?
