Hi All,

56 plate CLK run flat indicator reset. I had a rim refurbed on the car before I collected it so they obviously had the tyre off the rim to do that. 100 yards down the road the run flat indicator reset warning came up. I have read the replies on here with someone with a similar problem but when I scroll through the menu options with the arrows on the steering wheel I don't get the tyre pressure option. I am awaiting the ops manual from the supplying dealer but just wondered if anyone could help me sort it now? If I hold down the reset button at the side of the dash it says it will reset everything to factory defaults which may cause more headaches than it fixes? Hope someone can help. Cheers.

Did you ever figure this out jlchall ?

I had a red warning on the dash on the way home last night and now have a message on startup which I need to get rid of.

The pressures are OK (33f / 35r) but the car had 2 new rears last week before I picked it up so I suspect the warning system just needs resetting.

It's in the normal dash menu.
Go to the temperature (or MPH) display
toggle up or down till you get the reset option
press the reset button.

Think that's it, but it's obvious when you do it.

Edit: nice choice of car - pics please :)

Aha !!!
I wasn't aware there were sub menus behind the main Temp or MPH menus.
Once I got there, like you say Ted it is relatively simple to do.

Apologies for the numpty questions. I'm fairly sure people are thinking RTFM but I work in IT and we are extremely averse to reading manuals.

I've got some photos,I just need to figure out how to upload them.

58 plate E220. Had this problem and have just done what 'Ted' advised.
Worked a treat...thanks.
