My s210 estate has a very heavy boot and does not stay up when you open it, is the a pair of struts in it and if so how do you change them?

There should be a small clip at the ends that levers out so you can unclip it from the ball type conector on the car.Ebay is a good source .

I cant seem to get at the struts as they are in the roof on the estate, does the rain channel come up to remove them?

I think you have to lower the head lining to get into them

You may not have to lower the roof lining...there are removable panels in the roof lining at each side...have a look there first.

Thanks, its one thing after another but still love the car, only had it a month and replaced all the injector seals, front lower bushes and rear suspension arms, a new intake control arm which made the car transform as it was off the actuator, mpg pretty crap though about 400-450 on full tank 70% motorway

I've seen over 50mpg on an extended run.

What temp is the car running at...should be 86oC?

Do you have the digital climate control, or the manual version?

had a faulty thermostat when I got it so replaced it now its running up over 80oC and it has manual climate
