There may be nothing wrong with the pump at all, it might, for example run for 5 minutes and then stop because the battery is not up to scratch or because the temperature of the coolant is not high enough… or the system thinks the coolant temperature is not high enough.
If the pump runs for a very short time or if it doesn’t run at all it would be wise to unplug the pump and put an independent power supply to the pump motor … a battery charger perhaps… to see if it will run without any influence from sensors within the system.
You would need to stand there and monitor the system just to see how long it will run for.
