s211 2003 Brakes?

Hi do you change the Disc's and Pads on a s211?

is it just a case of pushing the caliper pistons back are they wind back on the rear?

didnt wanna strip it down wen the time comes and find i need to use Star to fit new ones.

You have SBC braking on your S211. Be careful if you don't know what you are doing.
You need to deactivate SBC before attempting to change pads/discs.
Not totally sure but I think you have to use STAR (Mercedes diagnostics) to bleed the system properly too.

Thanks buddy, ive done loads of Disc's and Pads before just not on a car with SBC.

No problem

I do know that once you start working on the car, the doors must not be opened and the keys must be out of the ignition. The car must be "asleep" and not woken unless you want to lose your fingers activating the caliper whist working on it.

Same as you, normal discs and pads are no problem, but SBC is new to me too.
