I've tried to fit the tow hitch to my car, but the securing lever (?) at 1 doesn't seem to locate properly to enable it to be locked in place. Afaik, it's factory fitted (below). Are these a fiddle, or is there a technique I've missed?
With the hitch attached, the lever seen at 2 won't come far enough back to allow the lever at 1 (retracted) to come out of the upright opening, enabling the locking bit to be positioned correctly (I'm guessing). Any pointers, please?
