Screen Shot.

That doesn't work on my computer????:dk:
Which operating system do you have? I know for sure it works on Win2K, XP, and Vista.

Just to be clear, alt/printscreen only copies the screen shot into the clipboard. You won't see anything till you paste it from there into an application (Word, Outlook, Paint, etc.).

I have XP.

Yes I can copy and paste OK, but I thought the alt/print gave you only the main page not the surround as well?

PrtScrn - will give you the whole of the 'screen' as you see it - all windows/tabs

Alt + PrtScrn - will give you the 'active screen/window', including the border/surround of that screen

You can either paste it into word or go to Paint and create/paste it as a jpeg in order to keep the size down and edit it if needed.

I just received another 10 Mb screen shot at work :wallbash:

Friends don't send friends .doc attachments - it's a virus carrier disguised as a word processor.

Save As... JPG.

I have just used the above method and it works perfectly. Many thanks Bill. :thumb:

I bought a new laptop recently and didn't even need to transfer the Gadwin screenshot software form my previous machine. :bannana:
