Scuffed my alloys - twice!

I just need to vent!

I have scuffed my 19" alloys not once, but twice!!!! On two consecutive days!!!!

I was parking in Bristol to drop my niece off and quickly nipped into a space on the road. When manouvering I misjudged the height of the curb and how close I was then - sccrrraaaaatttccchhhhh!!!!!! I got out and I was so cross as the scuff is right round the rim and on two of the spokes.

If that wasn't bad enough I hit the same wheel in Cardiff in St David's car park the day after. Put my ticket in the machine to get out, the barrier went up and I drove straight into the corner of the kerb. I was so peed off.

I've never misjudged things so badly so my pride is hurt at the moment. The scuff is now covering half the wheel. I'm going to get it sorted by a company before any lasting damage is done.

I feel your pain. But look on the bright side - it was the same wheel both times. Imagine how bad you'd have felt if it was two wheels you'd damaged in two days!

Bummer - I'm just waiting for the day - it's inevitable, and the fix to the diamond cut face isn't going to be .

As said, at least it's the same wheel .

If you don't damage them yourself then a clumsy tyre fitter will do it for you.

Feel your pain cctesta, gouged a front and rear recently ;(

However the nice chaps at pristine are welding the gouges and refurbing, inc diamond cut for £104 plus vat per wheel, they may have a local drop off near to you in bristol

Go straight to the naughty step, do not pass go, do not collect £200. You're only hope is a get out of jail free card.

Seriously... they can be repaired, so don't feel too bad.
