I was wondering if any W202's came with the pockets on the back of the the front seats, if so are they easy to change?

Many thanks

Noops.

Search for D-Class for quiality leather trimmers.

You may find in the '43 it will reduce rear legroom as the seats are quite big already.

Hi,
The pockets on the back of the seats was an option and can be retrofitted, i have the WIS work instructions and pt. no.'s of the bits you will require i was going to do this to my 43 but i got the price of the pockets from MB and decided not to do it, (in excess of £150 for each pocket!).
The ruffled pockets fit on the back of your existing seat backs.
I can let you have the details if you want them.

I did this mod a fair while back, here are my before and after pics.

Thanks gents, Andy if you can get me those details that would be grand.
Gurpz they look good, was it easy to install?

Cheers Noops yes they where very easy however I got the backs complete so it was just a case of unscrewing the 2 screws at the bottom and swaping the entire backs.

That's what I plan to do, how much did it cost you, if that's ok to ask?

thats weird , my 1998 C240 elegance had them as standard. Thats crazy they arent fitted to the C43

Thats right they were standard on Elegance models I bought mine from a breaking Elegance W202 IIRC its a W210 part number so the W210 ones should also fit.

Hi,
Pt. no.'s for the retro fit of seat pockets,
Retainers x10 per seat,
Pt. No. A 000 994 89 45

Pocket, Leather x2 (apply car Interior colour code).
Pt. No. A 202 810 05 49

I did this too - If you choose the retro fit option then you would need to take the back off and drill the seat cover. The retainers then secure the ruffled pockets to the seat back.
