hi, i have been cleaning my clk 230k year 2000 elegance model and found that the seat is very annoying to move, i searched for days for a solution but cant find one. basically the seat has the adjuster to move up and down forwards and backwards, no memory functions or anything, and on the drivers side the seat does move forward and back as well as up and down but with the forward and back it gets stuck or confused, i will move forward and its fine and then i moved backwards but it goes backwards but then starts to move forwards again or completely stops and doesn't move forward or backwards, but does move up and down which is the same switch. it doesn't all ways get stuck in the same position either so nothing on the guides.
things i have tried;
-lubricating the rails
-moving forward and holding for 10 seconds and moving right back and hold for 10 seconds
-fuses seem to be all good and wouldn't make sense as moves just not all the time.
any help would be appreciated, also there is sometimes a slight clicking from under the seat but not every time, mainly when the seat is as far forward as possible.
