If it's going to be used for spares it's probably most sensible for 1 person to buy it.
If it's going to be restored & re-sold then I'm willing to chip-in a few hundred.
I don't 'spose we'll know for sure what to do until the old head is removed.

I reckon that whoever buys it would be best of buying it with a view to break it for spares.

If upon inspection (perhaps remove the head etc) it really is too good to break, and the repairs are economical, think of it as a bonus.

After all, for £500 or less we have already established that it is a bargain for the parts alone.

Alas no, 1068dogs was beaten by £10 Another forum member told me this morning that he would have contributed to the deal, as everyone, both here and in the real world advised me to go for it. I only wish I had got the messages yesterday Not to worry though, there will be more and if you kind sir would point me in that direction I would be very greatful.
