Ha Ha Ha !!! :D

the red velvet knickers are just a tad small for me unfortunately

might have a bid on the Ann Summers Posing thong though

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=58506&item=6749156582&rd=1

parrot noises indeed - a touch off topic but legendary none the less !!

ps - i think Ian is going to go it alone, do up the engine, and sell off the parts (at great discount ;) ) to ourselves and keep that lovely leather interior for himself !! (greedy LOL)
Who knows, Ian might pick up some EXTRAS. :D :D :D

PS Last change of owner was April 2002. The car, not the thong.

Is this why you cant make Bruntingthorpe? the knickers arrive on the same day! hee heehee, cant catch me, well maybe if you came on Saturday, or are you not buying them cos they arent blue?

Pietre, who do you mean - i will be at Bruntingthorpe !!!

Not driving - just spectating - can't afford to drive !! :(

I was getting at PJH, I'm spectating also, as it cost enough coming up from Portsmouth, and having had to put new rear boots on takes all of the spare drinking vouchers. I think red would suit him, i mean if Spiderman can wear red underwear on the outside side why shouldnt PJH, especialy if my camera is nearby.

It is a very stylish red too ......... the talking parrot thong is better though !!

so hows about a roll call of W124 owners that would be interested? BTW the thong would go well with the Coupe

Thank you Pietre, but these will go well with YOUR car. :D :D :D
As for Bruntingthorp, a few other things have cropped up since I originally posted back in January. (unless I get them done early, so watch your back!)

Ian,
If it's going to be used for spares it's probably most sensible for 1 person to buy it.
If it's going to be restored & re-sold then I'm willing to chip-in a few hundred.
I don't 'spose we'll know for sure what to do until the old head is removed.

I reckon that whoever buys it would be best of buying it with a view to break it for spares.

If upon inspection (perhaps remove the head etc) it really is too good to break, and the repairs are economical, think of it as a bonus.

After all, for £500 or less we have already established that it is a bargain for the parts alone. :)

Bump !!!

Ian , i'm sure your watching but its got 11 hours left and someone has bid on it .......

Good luck mate

H

I have bid on it and am now waiting...............oh why do I have to go to bed and sleep? Anyway I have set a maximum I am prepared to pay bid, so we shall see what we shall see :D

Well...........

Did you get it Ian ? :D

Are you 'mongolianbar' .....

Alas no, 1068dogs was beaten by £10  Another forum member told me this morning that he would have contributed to the deal, as everyone, both here and in the real world advised me to go for it. I only wish I had got the messages yesterday :o Not to worry though, there will be more and if you kind sir would point me in that direction I would be very greatful.
