Does anyone know how to reset service interval on 2008 CLS320CDI. Normally with my past Mercedes its just a push of the reset button for a few seconds when the service indicator is displayed. Can it only be reset by Star now? On the last service it showed how many miles until service but this time it shows days until service, looks like it has been changed when in for updates at last service. Cheers:wallbash:

Have you serviced it?

Not done many miles since last service approx 4000 so sent it to an Indy locally for a service who's stuck on the reset. Going to send it to Mercedes for another service in July next year so I can keep the mobilo up as that will be within 2 years of last Mercedes service. Mercedes confirmed that you have to have the car serviced at least every 2 years for mobilo. Cheers

Indy service - you have just lost mobilo untill you next service it at merc.

Why, service book not stamped by Indy, will still be within 2 years of last Mercedes service. Cheers

my understanding is that once mobilo lapses due to lack of service, it cannot be reinstated by a service at an MB dealer

Edit: Says in my book for Mobilo is valid for new vehicles initially for 4 yrs. From 5th year mobilo is extended with each scheduled maintenance service carried out at a main dealer. After 5th year servicing must be upto date in order to retain Mobilo and it must be recored in the service book.

Mobilo will not be valid if your scheduled service is overdue at the time you require Mobilo services. However the cover will be re-instated by completion of the overdue service and will be retained until the next service is due.

So the OP doesnt even need to do the next service at Mercedes. It is the 5th year one you need to do at the main dealer to extend the Mobilo.

Just found it on their site too: Mercedes-Benz UK - Mercedes-Benz Mobilo (Registered from 01.04.08) - How long are you covered for?
