Hi everyone,
I’ve just had my 2018 E Class serviced under the service contract I took out when I bought the care (pre owned).
My current contract will finish next month, it cost £43 per month, the new contract is quoted at £47 per month but does include an MOT each year.
The big question, is it worth it, I’ve had the Mercedes Me app included before so assuming it will be included if I contract again!

Many Thanks in anticipation of your comments.

I took mine out at £44 a month for 3 years. 3 services plus 3 mots . 2 years ago.

Worth it if your getting a major b service in the time frame, automatic transmission oil etc .

I suppose it’s more like £52 for your calculation's ( because of the MOT cost as well ) .
Depending on what engine your car is that sounds to me that at £600 a year it’s getting expensive for a 6+ year old car .

I have one on my S63 AMG Coupe £64/month inc MOT, but I prefer getting the Mot done elsewhere. Rather have non biased eyes on it. Just saying:rolleyes:

Just renewed mine , the next three years will require two 'B' services and one 'A' , so probably worth it .
Regarding the MOT at the main stealer, I was more than a little 'p***d off when this year It was given an advisory on both rear tyres which were 'down to 3.5mm' !

No - see the last post here

I got my car as brand new in 2016/gle
I took out service care cover for services years 4/5/6
That was B - A- B and the 5th year a service A inc the ATF change a big cost.
My car, I still have it, done just over 23k miles - for me the service plan initially quote close to
1400 which I bought then a few days later noted a "Black Friday sale" rang them
during cooling off period and the discount price was IIRC - about 1250 possibly
close to 1300 but no more than that.

I recall looking up year 5 A service which inc ATF looked it up as
if I was paying for the one service it was almost 1000 pounds - we
live in greater London and MB owned the garages and local dealers
had the same price - the B serives came to 5/600 each possibly a bit
more I can'r remember but I was several hundred pounds ahead.
Beucse of the low miles, no mot items needed doing

I've had the MoT done with servicing by my MB dealership for the last nine years. Never so much as an advisory.

My experience is that the MOT station and the service bays are different departments.

I’m told that relatively few Mercedes main dealers have their own MOT testers these days, it takes up a ramp and brings in much less revenue than using it for servicing and repairs. Instead they often use a local independent MOT station.

I found that out many year ago when they put VAT on the mot.
It must have been in 2010 my first mot on one of my previous MB's,

It varies. Both MB Brooklands, and Brayley Suzuki in Hendon have their own MOT testing stations. These are the only two dealerships that I have recently used, so not sure about others.
